Erlinda P. Mercado M.D. / Center for Behavioral Medicine
Dr. Erlinda P. Mercado is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. She is certified in Addiction Medicine and licensed to practice in the State of Michigan. Dr. Mercado obtained her medical degree in Santo Tomas of Manila in 1965. She completed her residency in general & child psychiatry at Lafayette Clinic in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Mercado earned her Diplomat of the American Society of Addiction Medicine in 1996. She is active in the Michigan Medical Society, Michigan Society of Addiction Medicine and Oakland County Medical Society.
Dr. Erlinda P. Mercado is a Lapeer area psychiatrist, certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (Child & Adult) and Addiction Medicine. She has been providing professional services for over 40 years to patients who experience acute psychiatric illness and/or dual disorder issues.
The Center for Behavioral Medicine provides outpatient psychiatric services for children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Mercado understands the importance of family involvement and encourages loved ones to participate in treatment.
Our services include Consultations, Assessments, Psychiatric Evaluations, Chemical Dependency Treatment/Addiction Medicine, Psychological Testing, and Medication Management.
