Since 1991, the Lapeer Counseling Center has provided professional and comprehensive counseling for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Psychiatric services are also available through Erlinda P. Mercado, M.D. through the Center of Behavioral Medicine located in the office of Lapeer Counseling Center.
Daniel J. Kachman, Ed. D., Licensed Psychologist, John Cheritt, A.C.S.W, clinical social worker and Erlinda P. Mercado M.D. psychiatrist and addiction specialist, each have over thirty years of clinical experience. Given their varied mental health training and experience, they are able to provide a multidiscipline approach to the treatment of mental health and substance problems.
